Meet Katherine

As an ordained minister and a Harvard graduate with experience in both the public and private sector, I offer a unique perspective on teaching, helping people identify their core strengths and tell their stories with authenticity and force.

I found a love for communications coaching while teaching at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government, where I graduated with my Master's in Public Administration. My teachers were legendary community organizer Marshall Ganz; public intellectual and human rights advocate Tim McCarthy; and writer and ethicist Jeff Seglin. My clients have included the first woman to run for president in Somalia; the mayor of Curridabat, Costa Rica; and political reporters for CNN and the Washington Post.

In addition to one-on-one coaching, I have given keynotes and led workshops on topics including economics and religion; giving and receiving feedback effectively; gender identity and diversity; and community development. My teaching communities have ranged from small church groups to the Harvard Kennedy School and the UN Universidad Para la Paz.

Born in Texas, I have lived in Indiana, California, Hawaii, Costa Rica, and Washington, D.C., and traveled all over the globe – a diversity of cultural experience I bring to my coaching work. I now live outside Worcester, Massachusetts, the fastest-growing city in New England, and among the most ethnically diverse, where my wife and I are helping raise a cadre of active nephews.

The Team

When the scope of a project calls for it, Katherine works with a network of brilliant independent consultants. These colleagues include experts in law, advocates for people with disabilities, and DE&I trainers from diverse racial and ethnic backgrounds.
